Cubbin — Terms of Use

Welcome to Cubbin. By using the Cubbin app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. Cubbin is currently offered as a beta / preview for personal, non‑commercial use. If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use the Service.

Using Cubbin

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your region (generally 13+); if you're younger, an adult should manage the account.
Use Cubbin for your own personal memories and small circles. Don't use it to harass, harm, or violate the rights of others, and don't upload unlawful content or content you don't have the right to share.
Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse‑engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other people's cubbies.
You're responsible for keeping access to your device and your invite codes reasonably private.

Your content

Everything you place in Cubbin — photos, videos, notes, voice recordings, and other items ("Your Content") — stays yours. We don't claim ownership of it. You grant Cubbin the limited permission needed to store Your Content and show it to the people you share a cubby with, and to operate and improve the Service. We don't sell Your Content or use it for advertising. You're responsible for Your Content and for having the right to share it, including the rights of anyone it depicts.

Sharing with others

When you invite people to a cubby, they can see and interact with the content there. Share only with people you trust, and only content you're comfortable those people seeing.

Beta service

Cubbin is a work in progress. It is provided "as is" and may change, break, lose data, or be unavailable. Please keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or end the beta at any time.

Disclaimers & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cubbin is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or content, arising from your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Ending use

You can stop using Cubbin at any time and delete your content and cubbies. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or to protect the Service or its users.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll change the date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app. Continuing to use Cubbin after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
